As an SEO Content Writer at Wizcore, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, optimised content that drives organic traffic, enhances user engagement, and improves search engine rankings. You will work closely with the marketing, design, and training teams to develop compelling, SEO-friendly copy for our website, blogs, social media channels, and marketing materials. Your content will play a crucial role in shaping Wizcore’s online presence and supporting our growth in the competitive IT training industry.
Role & responsibilities
- Create SEO-Optimised Content: Develop engaging and well-researched content for blogs, website pages, landing pages, and more, optimised for relevant keywords and search intent.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute content strategies that align with SEO goals and business objectives.
- Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research to identify content opportunities and implement keywords in a natural, user-friendly way.
- On-Page Optimisation: Ensure all content follows SEO best practices, including meta tags, headers, internal linking, and URL structures.
- Content Editing: Proofread, edit, and improve existing content to maintain high standards of quality and SEO performance.
- Stay Updated on SEO Trends: Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and content marketing strategies to ensure Wizcore remains competitive in the digital space.
- Performance Monitoring: Use analytics tools to monitor content performance, making data-driven decisions to improve rankings and user engagement.
Preferred candidate profile
- Proven experience as an SEO Content Writer or similar role in a digital marketing or IT-related field.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and Google algorithms.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to write clear, compelling, and user-friendly content across multiple formats (blogs, articles, web copy, etc.).
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
- Experience working in the IT or tech industry is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
