This racing content creator will work closely with Athlon’s national racing publisher to expand coverage of the sport’s biggest storylines and personalities. We’re looking for entrepreneurial-minded writers who bring:
▪️ Deep understanding of the IndyCar news cycle, including its teams, drivers, media and key storylines
▪️ Clean copy, strong news judgment, headline creativity and SEO understanding
▪️ Experience covering racing and driving quality web traffic
While this role understandably isn’t suited for everyone, it’s ideal for those in a position to bet on their abilities and lean in hard to what we’re building. Athlon reaches tens of millions of readers per month, so there is plenty of upside for dedicated writers to tap into the compensation model, which is a revenue share per 1,000 page views and paid monthly.
