Spinelli Kilcollin is a luxury jewelry brand based in Los Angeles, known for designing linked rings, clean architectural designs, and a commitment to responsible craftsmanship. Founded in 2010, our collections are handcrafted in downtown L.A., with a focus on creating a positive long-term impact—on our industry, our community, and our customers.

We’re seeking a talented freelance copywriter with a refined grasp of luxury language and brand storytelling to support our growing marketing and communications needs. This role is ideal for a writer who understands the nuances of high-end branding, jewelry terminology, and can translate our founders’ vision into compelling copy across multiple formats. The ideal candidate will intuitively understand our voice and contribute a unique approach to bring consistency of expression throughout brand copy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, inspiring language for press releases, founder features, brand bios, and press interviews—crafting media-facing copy that communicates the brand’s story and co-founders’ background with elegance and clarity.
  • Write and refine brand storytelling content for internal brand books, press books, and web/marketing materials.
  • Support larger marketing initiatives with bold, succinct taglines, headlines, and campaign copy that aligns with the luxury tone.
  • Collaborate with internal members to ensure voice and messaging remain consistent across all channels.
  • Apply jewelry-specific language that conveys craftsmanship, materiality, and design ethos without sounding overly technical or inaccessible.

Requirements

  • Proven experience writing for luxury or high-end fashion, jewelry, or design brands.
  • Strong portfolio of brand storytelling, editorial, or marketing copy in the luxury sector.
  • Ability to quickly understand and maintain brand voice across varying contexts.
  • Familiarity with jewelry terminology and a strong visual imagination to match written language with product.
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable working independently on project-based assignments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with or writing about founders/designers.
  • Background in editorial, journalism, or brand marketing.

RATE

  • Hourly Rate: $75–$80
