APA Books is looking to expand our freelance roster for scholarly and clinical psychology book projects that include legal references. We’re seeking an experienced copyeditor with expertise in APA Style—specifically legal citations—to support projects on a contract basis.
🧠 What you’ll do:
– Copyedit manuscripts in Word using track changes and comments
– Apply APA Style with precision and consistency, especially for legal references
– Communicate professionally with authors/editors throughout the project
– Work remotely and independently, with project-based assignments
💼 Details:
– $40/hour
– U.S.-based contractors only
– Projects assigned as needed (no guaranteed frequency)
– Estimated hours provided upfront (avg. 1,250 words/~5 pages per hour)
