Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Finance Content Writer with a Chartered Accountant (CA) background to produce authoritative, insightful, and engaging financial content. The ideal candidate will leverage their CA expertise to create high-quality materials—ranging from technical guides and compliance commentaries to thought leadership—ensuring accuracy and credibility across all deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Editorial

• Write detailed articles, blog posts, white papers, and reports on accounting, auditing, taxation, compliance, and finance topics.
• Develop educational resources breaking down complex regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards (ICAI, BCI, GST, Income Tax, IFRS).
• Produce content for various audiences: professionals, business owners, and students.

Technical & Compliance-Focused Writing

• Prepare regulatory guides, summaries of new finance/tax laws, and practice commentaries.
• Create BCI/ICAI-compliant blogs and legal/tax guide downloads.
• Write content supporting LinkedIn authority-building for CAs, including personal stories, practice insights, and compliance tips.

Research & Analysis

• Conduct thorough research on evolving tax regulations (GST, Income Tax), audit standards, and industry updates.
• Analyze new CA announcements or circulars and present practical implications in clear articles.

Content Optimization & Strategy

• Use SEO best practices to maximize search visibility for finance and compliance topics.
• Adapt tone and format for digital platforms: LinkedIn, company blogs, knowledge portals.
• Collaborate on editorial calendars and strategic content planning.

Required Qualifications

Educational Background

• Studying for CA.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience

• Prior writing or editorial experience on CA, accounting, audit, or compliance topics.
• Knowledge of BCI/ICAI content standards.
• Experience in article writing for professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn), industry publications, or websites.

Technical Skills

• Deep knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, audit, and compliance frameworks (ICAI, BCI, GST, Income Tax).
• Strong proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace; working knowledge of SEO tools.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory content for practical applications.
