Key Responsibilities:

• Write original, high-quality sports content (500–1000+ words per article).
• Cover a wide range of sports, including (but not limited to) football, basketball, cricket, tennis, and emerging sports trends.
• Pitch creative content ideas that resonate with sports fans.
• Stay updated with the latest sports news and events.
• Optimize content with SEO best practices (training can be provided if needed).
• Edit and proofread content before submission.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sports writing (samples or a portfolio required).
• Deep knowledge and passion for sports.
• Strong command of the English language and grammar.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
• Understanding of SEO and social media trends is an advantage.

Compensation:

Competitive per-article rates based on experience and quality. Potential for long-term collaboration and increased pay based on performance.
