About Mental Dimes
Originally founded in 2020, Mental Dimes is returning with a bold mission:
Change the world, one opinion at a time.
We are a sports media platform dedicated to delivering high-quality, highly-opinionated content that sparks thought, conversation, and debate. We’re not here to blend in—we’re here to make readers feel something.
We’re preparing to relaunch with a weekly newsletter format and are looking for 10 sharp, passionate, opinion-driven sports writers to join our team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Writers with a deep passion for sports and a distinct point of view
- Strong, clear writing with a persuasive tone and confident takes
- Ability to support opinions with measurable data and reasoned arguments
- Consistency and commitment to deadlines
- Bonus: Familiarity with content creation, substack/newsletter platforms, or social media engagement
What You’ll Do:
- Contribute 1 piece bi-weekly (or monthly, depending on assignment)
- Write bold, engaging opinion articles on trending sports topics
- Provide justification and analysis to back your stance
- Work with our editorial team to refine your voice and reach new audiences
