Role Overview:

We are seeking a Technical Writer to support our client, a financial institution, by developing clear, structured documentation for internal processes. This role involves translating complex test scripts into user-friendly narratives, procedures, and data flow diagrams to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, experienced in financial or technical documentation, and proficient in industry-standard collaboration tools. This is a temporary to hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert test scripts into comprehensive procedural documentation.
  • Develop data flow diagrams and visual aids to support written materials.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure accuracy and clarity in documentation.
  • Organize and maintain content within Confluence, Jira, and SmartSheet for easy accessibility.
  • Provide structured, well-organized documentation that aligns with industry best practices.
Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in technical writing, preferably within banking, finance, or a regulated industry.
  • Proficiency in Confluence, Jira, and SmartSheet for knowledge management and project tracking.
  • Strong ability to simplify complex concepts for various audiences.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating clear, structured technical writing skills.
